Tamino and the Magic Flute
\n<\/strong>Tamino and the Magic Flute is a graphic novel adaptation of Mozart’s famous last opera. The mysterious Queen of the Night sends the hapless Prince Tamino on a quest to save her daughter from the evil sorcerer Sarastro, but Tamino soon finds himself questioning who to trust. To aid him on his journey is Papageno the cowardly bird catcher, and together they must face a series of trials, giant serpents, and an angry princess. \nPaula has illustrated for\u00a0Professor Elemental<\/i>\u00a0and is currently working on her first printed comic titled\u00a0Tamino and the Magic Flute<\/i>, a fantasy based off of Mozart’s last opera, with a Kickstarter due out in January 2016.<\/p>\n
She was recently the lead tattoo artist\/designer for Hawaii Opera Theatre’s production of Wagner’s\u00a0The Flying Dutchman<\/i>. Paula is slowly working her way up to be an opera director.<\/div>\n
As for right now, she teaches comic creation, art, and music to middle school children in Hawaii. When she is not working on comics or plans for dominating the operatic world, she composes on the piano.<\/div>\n<\/td>\n
