Writer/Creator: Alex Chautin
Alex Chautin is a New York transplant in Western Massachusetts. In 2016, he edited the anthology Scenes From a Cafe Counter and began work on his weekly comic strip TEACHER! This year he co-curated a political graphic novel exhibit featuring over 100 pieces of original comic art. He spends most of his time either teaching or reading, while doing both in a plaid over-shirt.

Guest artist: Kate Hayward
Kate daws a lot while drinking too much tea & watching too many movies. As well as making designs for her shop, tea-bug.com, she draws the web comic Legion of Kats & pencils the webcomic Team Spoopy, which she works on with two friends.

Hari Conner is a prize winning comics artist and professional illustrator / big nerd, currently working on a bunch of fantasy comics set in the same universe. Hari grew up in London but moved north of the wall to level up at Edinburgh College of Art, and has remained in Scotland ever since, where you can find her murals in bars, products in shops and her face at conventions.

Cherish York is a illustrator/comic artist who makes slice of life comics with elements of history and humour. When she isn’t making comics she is either works as a volunteer at the cartoon museum or as an event steward in different parts of London.

Her current webcomic Aunt Rebecca’s Triplet Sons is not only a slice of life/romantic manga but has elements of history and languages too.

Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become. It’s a love story…but a little broken.

Cherish York is an illustrator/comic artist who creates slice of life comics with hidden elements of humour, history and romance. Her interest in comics goes back to her mid teens when one of her school friend gave a magazine of manga to read. When she isn’t making comics she creates various illustrations that are inspired from what is seen around her. Her current web-comic Aunt Rebecca’s Triplet Sons is inspired not only from her interest of manga but also of history and languages.

Sarah Turner is a part time comic book artist from Oldham, who’s now living in the bright lights(?) of Leeds… she’s loves a good cup of tea and a biscuit! Penny Blackfeather is a Regencypunk webcomic about a young lady who wishes to go on an adventure. Currently is is updating it’s 2nd volume, with the first now in print. It features spirits, thieves, regency baths, magic and a parrot.

Francesca Dare is a VFX artist who also writes and draws comics. Her work has appeared in comic anthologies including Tempolush Tales of the Tanoox, Alidade and Wu Wei. The first volume of her comic Penny Blackfeather has been published by Sloth Comics. She lives in a small badger set in north London. She is one of the WASP organisers so if you want to get involved all you have to do is wait until midnight on a full moon, knock three times on the ground and offer her a wheel of cheese on a stick. The Wastelands
The Wastelands is a world left empty from its Gods as the mortals struggle to continue living with prisoned lands, corrupted guardians and abandoned temples. Following the lives of Rahu; a nomad who believes one god has cursed him. Kyror: the last prince of the Great Goddess’ land and Amy; a young girl who doesn’t belong.

Writer/Creator: Petitecreme
Petitecreme is an illustrator and comic artist that lives in the woods with her two black cats. Loves cute things and gory videogames, she creates feminine works with a slightly dark tinge.

Guest artist: Inko
Inko is an UK based Japanese manga artist. Her works often imply cross overs of traditional Eastern and Western cultures. She graduated Kyoto Zokei university of Art & Design in Japan, and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in UK, then she kicked off her career in late 2008. She frequently joins various conventions, art projects such as Art on Underground, gives talks at museums, and deliver manga workshops in and outside UK. Her webcomic co-writed with Chie Kutsuwada ‘Go! Go! Metro!’, an action manga ‘Ketsueki’ story by Richmond Clements, and an art book‘Uniform Girls I’ are available.

Don’t Feed the Pigeons
Don’t Feed the Pigeons is the story about 3 people trying to find love and themselves in London. Mona and Alex are best friends and shares a flat that the call the ‘Hippie House’, due to the large tree growing in their kitchen. Aswell as their carefree lifestyle they keep. Mona is a Swedish troll that also works as a nurse, whilst Alex is a green man and ‘proper Londoner’ that work as a cashier in the local bank. Gary is a divorced werewolf somewhere from East Europe. No one is really sure from exactly where, including Gary. Carlos is the chainsmoking, loud and foul mouthed pigeon only Alex can see and talk to. He only visits Alex when he’s drunk or high, giving him bad advice and being generally awful.

Anna Dowsland (Anitos.) is a freelancing illustrator and comic artist. Her work can be seen in children’s books, CD covers, Animations, Exhibitions and online comics. Previous comic projects she has taken part in are One Beat Zines – “Double Dare ya”, Marine Studios – “Adventures in Comics”, “To Arms” – A WWI centenary anthology, Dirty Rotten Comics – issue 5&6. Anna’s main comic is called Don’t Feed The Pigeons, which is updated on her wordpress every Wednesday.

Evelyn Hewett, a.k.a Mimi, grew up in the flat-lands of Lincolnshire in the English East Midlands. She’s a recent grad of Falmouth University and Newcastle College and she’s been drawing comics on and off for nearly six years, and is a regular face in the UK comics community. While she’s a serial comicker by night, Mimi is an illustrator/designer by day.
