STRANGERS & FRIENDS
The small British town of Wootton Bassett begins to be haunted by a series of mysterious and horrific murders.
Hemu, a shy and geeky new comer in town, becomes an obvious target for the local community to point their finger at- he does have his fair share of secrets! But what secrets are the other locals hiding?
A comic about the peculiar prejudices and customs of small communities, with a hint of social commentary and a sinister splash of fantasy-horror!

Alex Chautin is a New York transplant in Western Massachusetts. In 2016, he edited the anthology Scenes From a Cafe Counter and began work on his weekly comic strip TEACHER! This year he co-curated a political graphic novel exhibit featuring over 100 pieces of original comic art. He spends most of his time either teaching or reading, while doing both in a plaid over-shirt.

Rabbit girl Shea is neither a fully fledged rabbit or a human. When she finds an online video of a cat girl idol, she is determined to find her. With her brother June, she makes her way to the bustling capital of Japan, meeting various bakemono like her along the way.

Northern based manga artist from Japan who managed to plop out the start of a comic this year. Half person half potato who has tea running through their veins. Rolls out of bed and slides down the slope into procrastination land until the kettle is boiled.
Guest artist: Cherish York
Cherish York is a illustrator/comic artist who makes slice of life comics with elements of history and humour. When she isn’t making comics she is either works as a volunteer at the cartoon museum or as an event steward in different parts of London.

Her current webcomic Aunt Rebecca’s Triplet Sons is not only a slice of life/romantic manga but has elements of history and languages too.

Kate daws a lot while drinking too much tea & watching too many movies. As well as making designs for her shop, tea-bug.com, she draws the web comic Legion of Kats & pencils the webcomic Team Spoopy, which she works on with two friends.

Sarah Turner is a part time comic book artist from Oldham, who’s now living in the bright lights(?) of Leeds… she’s loves a good cup of tea and a biscuit!
When she’s not drawing her own comics, she also helps designs websites and works in IT. She is one of the WASP organisers and loves meeting other artists!

Hari Conner is a prize winning comics artist and professional illustrator / big nerd, currently working on a bunch of fantasy comics set in the same universe. Hari grew up in London but moved north of the wall to level up at Edinburgh College of Art, and has remained in Scotland ever since, where you can find her murals in bars, products in shops and her face at conventions.

Mythics are legendary mythical creatures who can take the form of humans. There are few of them left in the world and either remain in their human form in order to remain undetected by humans or have hidden away in magical places. Enter Arfan Jones, the phoenix who doesn’t realise he’s the mythic saviour, the Crooked Man, a wizard villain who wants to throw the world into chaos, and Jenny Pemberton, the human who hasn’t decided which university she wants to go to yet…

Penny Blackfeather is a regencypunk adventure featuring ghosts, monsters, tea parties, sword fights and parrots. After saving her magical friend from monsters, Penelope Blake must contend with the mysterious gang of scoundrels who are after him!

I am a small hermit living in London. My webcomic is Penny Blackfeather which has been running for five years. I have also worked on a few comic anthologies including Tempolush Tales of the Tanoox and Rosie and Jacinda. When not making comics I am throwing VFX rocks at movies, playing D&D or staring aimlessly out of a window thinking about unicorns or crumpets.
